A prayer for All Saints Day

Lord God almighty, you surround us with a great cloud of witnesses. 
Only sight prevents us from seeing them while daily we enjoy the freedoms, insights and fruits of compassion which they, following Christ, achieved for all ages. 
They, who once sat at your table on earth, are now hosted by your Son in heaven. 
For that company of Saints we praise you,asking that we, like them, may put your will before our own and follow them in following Christ; through this life and into the life everlasting. Amen
